Derby Operatic have just done JCS, with the same set as ours. Here is what the local paper had to say about their performance. In short it sounds like an OK performance, let down by sound & lighting issues. This is a shame, as, if they have worked anything like as hard as we have they must be pretty fed up to get such an average review.
I'm sure we won't suffer the same fate.

Hi Richard
I came across your site whilst searching out reviews for the other Judas' performances and have thoroughly enjoyed reading your account of the build up to 'show time'!
I just wanted to say thank you for visiting us on the James Fox forum and leaving a message. James, as you've read, is doing incredibly well as Judas and happily, as a result, is introducing a lot of new people not just to JCS, but to musical theatre in general.
I was fortunate to see the first London production of JCS in 1971 and have enjoyed the show many times since. Unfortunately I'm rather a long way from your part of the world otherwise I'd love to come and see your production. In any event I wish you every success and I'll certainly come back to your site to see how you're doing.
